Vanilla Cranberry Mimosa

This is a popular drink that is often prepared at Christmas time, for New Year's Eve, and for a number of brunches served during the cool months of the year. It's easy to make because it only has three ingredients, and it's always much-appreciated by guests.

● 1-1/2 ounces of vanilla-flavored vodka

● 1-1/2 ounces of cranberry juice

● bottle of sparkling wine, e.g. Champagne, Cava, Prosecco

● Combine the vodka, cranberry juice, and some ice in a shaker, then shake the mixture vigorously for about 30 seconds and strain it into a Champagne flute. Fill the glass right up to the top with whatever sparkling wine you've chosen, and garnish with fresh cranberries or whole vanilla beans if desired.
